Powers & Sons Construction Company, Inc.
Completion: Late Winter, 2010
Project Type: Plan / Spec
Site work is now underway on the $30 million expansion of the Indiana Convention Center. Using 8,000 tons of structural and miscellaneous steel, the Convention Center will expand from 403,000 square feet of exhibit space to 745,000 square feet of exhibit space and 131,000 square feet of meeting space. Lenex was awarded the contract to fabricate the steel beams, columns, trusses and stairs. |
Through the bidding process, Lenex won out over fabricators from Georgia, Phoenix and St. Louis. As a local company, we are excited to be a part of this major city project.
