Steve Durfee joins Lenex Steel as Director of Business Development

Indianapolis, IN -(Nov 23, 2011): Lenex Steel, an Indianapolis based steel fabrication company, has hired Steve Durfee, most recently at Hammerts Iron Works of St. Louis, as Director of Business Development.

Durfee will be responsible for business development in the Midwest, plains states and the Mid-Atlantic regions. Durfee's primary responsibility will be to execute Lenex's sales plans and to manage its business development team. He was hired in response to expanding sales territory and increased sales volumes.

According to Durfee, "The main reason I joined Lenex is that there was a good fit between Lenex and my experience in the steel industry; I am also familiar with the markets and areas into which Lenex is expanding." "We look forward to having Steve's experience in the industry and leadership skills on board," remarked Mike Berghoff, Lenex Steel President.
